Today, there are two directives related to the regulation of work in Explosive Atmospheres (ATEX in English).
The directive that covers the commercialization and manufacture of equipment for use in dangerous atmospheres: 94/9 / EC, generally called “Device Directive”.
The other directive, 1999/92 / EC, is intended to guarantee the minimum level of protection for workers in industries that use hazardous materials. It is generally referred to as the “user policy”.
