ICS network for Lumin

With the aim of improving the Lumin control network, Inteka implemented an industrial network for ICS (Industrial Control Systems), separating the old general plant network into two areas; administrative network and ICS network.

This was done through VLANs (Virtual Local Area Networks) configured in industrial plant routers, thus improving the robustness, reliability, availability and response times of the control network.

Lumin is part of the Timberland Investment Group (TIG), a global leader in timber organizations.
